THIS HALLOWEEK I'’’M HERE TO TELL YOU WHERE TO FIND THE CONSTELLATION TAURUS IS.
NO BULL!
HIT THE DARKNESS ANYTIME THIS WEEK AFTER TEN PM LOOKING EAST.
THERE, YOU'’’LL SEE JUPITER SHINING BRIGHT.
ON THE 29th, THE MOON IS ABOVE JUPITER, USE THE TWO TO DRAW A LINE TOWARD THE HORIZON ALONG THE WAY IS ALDEBARAN THE EYE OF TAURUS THE BULL!
IF YOU WAIT UNTIL ORION RISES, YOU CAN USE HIS THREE FABULOUS BELT STARS TO POINT RIGHT TO ALDEBARAN TOO!
ALDEBARAN IS PART OF THE V-SHAPED STAR CLUSTER, THE HYADES MARKING HEAD OF THE BULL.
YOU CAN DRAW TAURUS'’’S HORNS BY TRACING LINES AWAY FROM ALDEBARAN TO TIANGUAN, AND NEARBY AIN TO ELNATH.
TAURUS CONTAINS TWO STAR CLUSTERS, HYADES, AND PLEIADES BOTH CLUSTERS CONTAIN YOUNG STARS SO MAYBE WE SHOULD THINK OF TAURUS AS A BULLISH MOTHER!
WE MENTIONED IT LAST WEEK, BUT JUPITER WILL MAKE A CONJUNCTION WITH THE FULL HARVEST MOON ON SATURDAY!
KEEP LOOKING UP!
