This week we re going to follow Orion s Belt on a constellation tour of the winter sky.
Start by looking south tonight around seven.
Trust me, you can not miss Orion and his sparkly belt of three stars.
Follow Orion s gaze to the eye of Taurus the Bull: the bright orange star Aldebaran!
From there, keep tracking in the same direction and you ll find The Seven Sisters, Orion's forbidden loves -- the Pleiades.
Grab binoculars for these ladies, you won t regret it.
Here s a pic I took of them a few months ago!
Shooting an arrow down and to the left of the belt stars will take you to Sirius the Dog star, the brightest star in the sky.
Up and to the left of Sirius you'll find the Little Dog Star, bright white Procyon.
These two stars are part of Orion's hunting dogs Canis Major and Canis Minor.
It s easy to follow the sparkly belt while you Keep Lookin up!
