A partial eclipse means the sun isn t totally obscured.
In order to see this one you ll need to be in the Northeastern USA or Alaska!
Just wait for the sun to rise!
The eclipse will peak around 6:40am Eastern.
The exact time will depend on your location.
Virginians will experience 35% blockage, Mainers will get 80% and my fav Yoopers of Michigan will get 85% solar coverage!
Because of the way our eyes work, it won t look dark unless we get above 90% coverage, but that doesn t mean you can t see the eclipse!
To watch, ALWAYS use special glasses, or look online to make an eclipse viewer out of a shoebox and a pin (it s TOTALLY worth it!)
Keep lookin up -- just not directly at the sun.
